National Craft Month – Crafting is a Way of Life
rafting is one of my favorite subjects to talk about. It means it’s time to grab your glue gun, flex your creative muscles, and fully embrace the chaos of crafting. As someone who loves a good hands-on project (and has personally experienced the heartbreak of an epic Pinterest fail), I figured this was the perfect time to clear up a common debate:
What’s the difference between crafting and DIY? Because let’s be honest—some people use these terms interchangeably, but they are not the same thing. Let’s break it down. The key difference in a nutshell?
St. Patrick’s Day – All Green Everything!
There are two types of people on St. Patrick’s Day. The first group throws on a wrinkled green T-shirt five minutes before leaving the house so they don’t get pinched. The second group? They commit. I’m somewhere in between celebrating from afar and throwing up a pint of stout at the local Irish Pub.
National Craft Month – Hurray for Crochet!
March is National Craft Month, which means it’s time to talk about something near and dear to my creative little heart: making things with your hands. Real things. Beautiful things. Things that require patience, creativity, and maybe a cup of coffee sitting next to you while you figure out what on earth you just did three rows back.
Designer & Diy’er pumped up on caffeine and willing to create anything. I want to let women know they can do it and if they don’t want to, I will.
