Walmart for Home Design….Who Knew?

There must be a new Sheriff in town in the design department at Walmart. They are killing it right now with their online home decor and furnishings. I decided to focus on the category of “Only at Walmart” where you won’t see these items anywhere else. I’ve curated a list of brands that are really offering high design for affordable prices.

Queer Eye

Queer Eye has a brand full of high style items . Even though it’s labeled “Queer Eye”, I suspect Bobby Burk, the design guy, had a heavy hand in this line. He’s known for his modern yet approachable aesthetic.

I love the upholstered gray beds. The daybed even has a trundle underneath so you get two beds for the price of one.

This bar cart is everything! From the raised shelf, to the sleek lines and the 2 cabinets for plenty of hidden storage, this is what you need in a bar cart.

This set of 2 side tables is hitting on the Instagram/Tik Tok trend of the DIY cement and travertine side tables. But with prices this low, you won’t have to DIY.

I love a fireplace because who doesn’t love s’mores? Well, I’m sure some people don’t, but we won’t mention them. I’ve never seen a round white one. Love this.

Better Homes and Gardens

BHG has a line at Walmart also. It does skew more towards Modern Farmhouse but has some pretty cool pieces that are very easy to fuse with other styles.

I love this farmhouse style table because it’s simple but there’s so much you could do with it. It also saves space if you have a tight dining room. You could use one of the benches in the entryway or mudroom and add modern black chairs on one side of the table. You could also add cushions to the bench in a modern fabric.

This is another bar cart on wheels which I love, so you can move it around. There’s no hidden storage so everything is on display, but that just lets you have so many options with styling.

This chair is simple, but very affordable so is worth checking out. You could buy 2 of them for the living room with a side table in between. It could be a side chair in a smaller bedroom or in a corner of any room as a reading nook.

This next chair has two trends going for it; pink and velvet. Pink is on trend and I don’t think it’s going anywhere anytime soon. With it’s simple lines, it could go with any decor style.

This next chair is a mid century modern dupe that is so stylish with its light colored wood and gray upholstery. It’s a slam dunk.

Gap Home

Next up is Gap Home, which I never thought I would say. LOL They don’t have a lot of pieces, but they are worth mentioning.

The next two pieces come in a really pretty blue color for that extra dose of style. They also come in black, but I thought the blue was really unusual and would add that pop of color to your decor.

This bench is really cute with its cushion in the middle of the bench, the shoe shelf below and the side cubby. Perfect for an entryway or mudroom.

Beautiful

The “Beautiful” line by Drew Barrymore focuses on Kitchen Housewares and offers high design at very affordable prices. This line of kitchen accessories comes in a range of colors including this sage green below. With gold hardware, she’s hitting on all of the style points. I’ve included the stand mixer, the air fryer and the coffee maker. Check out her other pieces on the site.

I also have two honorable mentions because I just think they’re fabulous. I’m a lighting girl, so I think this MCM lamp will always be in style. Also, the lamp table has a USB port, which is genius!
