The 10 Best Sweaters I’ve Gotta Have This Season

Lifestyle

It’s Sweater Weather

It’s officially “Swetta Weatha” (SNL reference). There’s nothing better than cozying up in an oversized sweater or cardigan as the weather gets colder. I even love to put a cardigan on in the house since I do keep my house rather cold. Why you say? Well that’s a conversation for another time. LOL

I love sweaters so much that I’ve rounded up all of my favorites this season. I have so many that this year, I’m looking for anything that’s unique, whether it’s the pattern, the color or any unique embellishments. I haven’t taken the plunge and bought any of these yet, but I will soon. Very soon.

This green leaf sweater is from Yoox and it’s everything I wanted in a sweater. It’s not too thick, it has a pattern, which I’m into this year and it has my favorite color green.

This chunky cardi from Your Yarn on Etsy is in a beautiful blue but it comes in a whopping 34 other colors too. It’s custom made so it will take 4-6 weeks to receive but it looks to me like it’s totally worth it. The chunkiness, the color, swoon…..

This next sweater is not especially unique as it’s a black cardigan, but the double breast and gold buttons makes it different. I found this on HM so you know it’s affordable.

These next two sweaters are Mango and I gravitated towards them because of the color. As I get older I’m starting to like blue which I was never partial to before. Go figure. The second one is in a lovely pumpkin orange color and it’s oversized which I love.

This next one is a red cardigan that would be very versatile for this holiday season. It’s from Amazon and will get you through the holidays in style.

Now, for the best of the best as far as I’m concerned. Zara is my go-to for “fast fashion”, but you can’t beat them for trend worthy outfits that are affordable. They are always on the pulse of what’s hot so what’s not to love? I’ve raided my Wish List to show you four of my favorites (there’s more) but if I showed you everything in my Wish List, then you’d know I have a serious problem. So none of that.

This first sweater is in the pink that was on all of the runways for Fall 2022. It’s what I would call the Schiaparelli pink, named after the famous fashion designer Elsa Schiaparelli. She made pink hot in the 1920’s and it’s been going in and out of fashion since then. It’s really hot right now and I’m down for this affordable sweater from Zara.

This next sweater is a funky patchwork of all blues. I love cardigans for their versatility. You can put a t-shirt underneath, layer a thin turtleneck underneath or wear it with a collared shirt.

This sweater is in a light green with a wide lapel, making it very unusual. Since my favorite color is green in all shades, I will consider this a slam dunk.

And last but not least, this Zara dark pink sweater has one cut-out shoulder. It’s a little sexy, which is always a good thing.

Well, off I go to buy some or all of these. Hah. Let me know if you are a sweater addict like I am. Seriously, let me know so I won’t feel so all alone. LOL
