Fall Decor Ideas You’ll Love
I have been waiting for the longest summer ever to end because here in Atlanta, it was sweltering with humidity, mosquitoes and scorching sun. It just tires you out and this one was hotter than it’s been in years if you’ve been watching the news. I can feel it, can’t you? It’s Fall ya’ll and I’m digging it. The slight nip in the air, the longing for a pumpkin spice latte and the football players gearing up for a great season; it’s the most wonderful time of the year. I love Fall in all its glory.

My mother is part of a travel club and she asked me if I wanted to go to Japan. I said yes immediately because it was on my bucket list. At the last minute they added Hong Kong for a nominal fee and that made it even better.

How I DIY’d Frames for My Canvas Art
I bet you’re wondering how I got to the picture above right? Well, I’ll tell you. I made some DIY art awhile back in this blog post. The more I looked at them, I felt like they needed to be framed. Now, I don’t know about you but framing prices are sky high. I don’t want to knock framers, because in their own way they are artists but it’s hard to part with more money than the actual art costs. If I had unlimited amounts of money, I would definitely get my art framed but I don’t have it like that. Therefore, I went to YouTube University to figure out how to frame my canvas art with wood molding.

For my birthday this year, I went to St. Lucia in the West Indies. It had been on my bucket list forever because of the terrain. Mountains and volcanoes are my jam. There are trails in the rainforest leading to spectacular waterfalls too. I wasn’t going to go and one of my best friends talked me into it and I’m so happy she did because, YOLO.

Happy Hour is one of those things that you either are down with or not. People usually go after work to get some drinks and calm down from a stressful day at work. Some people just want to get home as quickly as possible and don’t want to spend any time in a crowded bar. The food is usually fried and just something to go with the drinks. Target has been so good for several years now. It’s not the Target of my childhood which was much more in line with Walmart. They’ve made so many strides forward in fashion and especially in design. In pairing up with famous designers for capsule collections to carrying whole lines of products from “of the moment” tastemakers, Target has really come into its own and I can honestly say they’re in a lane all their own.

Some of them were surprising and some of them were just a continuation of what’s been happening all year and even last year. Like most trends, you can take them with a grain of salt or put your twist on them to make it your own. It’s good to see what the trendsetters are thinking about and if you’re like me, wondering how they can all land on the same trends at the same time. Makes you go hmmm.
