My mother is part of a travel club and she asked me if I wanted to go to Japan. I said yes immediately because it was on my bucket list. At the last minute they added Hong Kong for a nominal fee and that made it even better.

How I DIY’d Frames for My Canvas Art
I bet you’re wondering how I got to the picture above right? Well, I’ll tell you. I made some DIY art awhile back in this blog post. The more I looked at them, I felt like they needed to be framed. Now, I don’t know about you but framing prices are sky high. I don’t want to knock framers, because in their own way they are artists but it’s hard to part with more money than the actual art costs. If I had unlimited amounts of money, I would definitely get my art framed but I don’t have it like that. Therefore, I went to YouTube University to figure out how to frame my canvas art with wood molding.

For my birthday this year, I went to St. Lucia in the West Indies. It had been on my bucket list forever because of the terrain. Mountains and volcanoes are my jam. Happy Hour is one of those things that you either are down with or not. People usually go after work to get some drinks and calm down from a stressful day at work. Target has been so good for several years now. It’s not the Target of my childhood which was much more in line with Walmart. They’ve made so many strides forward in fashion and especially in design.
