I like to produce special events because you really get to participate in a meaningful moment in a client’s life.. This baby shower was for a sweet baby boy. The mother was adopting him from birth after trying for years to conceive; making this a very heartfelt event.
The Mother wanted a Woodland Theme so I started with the colors of Fall (brown, green and orange). All of the linens were in these colors and the serving platters and bowls had the themes of woods or leaves.
The menu consisted of:
Small chicken salad sandwiches on croissants
Individual crudite w/ranch dip
Taco salad w/tortilla chip
Salami, cheese and tomatoes on skewers
Cupcakes
I also like to decorate the special guests’ chair at my events, so I used fall garlands and manzanita sticks. Needless to say, we all had a wonderful time celebrating the birth of this lucky boy.
