Holiday Gift Guide – Hostess Gifts
Holiday Gift Guide – For the Man Who has Everything
I decided to do a gift guide of warm & cozy items for women because, frankly, “pandemic wear” is still a thing to me. Marketing gurus called it “athleisure” back then and now it’s called “slow living” and encompasses your whole lifestyle. But whatever it’s called, I think it’s here to stay and every woman loves something cozy against her skin as well as making her home warm and inviting. Think multiple textures and neutral colors, but you don’t always have to follow the rules. Pops of color are welcome too.
It’s all about living in the moment and enjoying life’s simple pleasures.
Slippers & Socks
I know you might say, slippers and socks aren’t sexy, but now they are. Anything fluffy, cozy and warm will be greatly appreciated by the woman in your life, your mother, grandmother, aunt, etc. Ugg slippers are the standard, but there are slipper socks as well as fluffy slip ons. The socks have been elevated also in materials ranging from cashmere to wool and sherpa lined. I read somewhere that in many cultures, socks mean warmth, comfort and protection, so there you go. Don’t sleep on either of these gifts.
UGG Women’s Scuffette II Slippers – $95.00
3 Pairs of Women’s Cashmere Socks – $24.97
5 Pairs Women’s Wool Socks – $16.99
Blue Double Strap Faux Fur Slippers – $20.99
Metlucks Warm Slipper Socks – $23.99
Sherpa Lined Slipper Socks with Grips – $14.99
Pajamas & Robes
Robes have always been warm and cozy. There’s a red velvet robe that looks like a long hoodie with pockets and a plush blue robe that’s almost like a blanket. Designers are really giving more thought to how you want to wear pajamas too. You can even go outside with some pajamas. Again, the traditional pajamas don’t apply now. They are very versatile, with a cream sherpa set that can definitely go outside, an elegant Victoria’s Secret pair, a tie-dye set that is outdoor worthy and plaid footie pajamas which I love!
Women’s Fleece 2pc Pajamas Set – $39.99
Ultra Plush Full Length Robe – $109.99
Oversized Fleece Blanket Robe – $37.99
Victoria’s Secret Flannel Pajamas Set – $59.95
Warm Fleece Hooded and Footed Onesie – $38.99
Gray Tie-Dye Cozy Pajamas Set – $39.99
Cozy For The Home
This is the time of the year where everybody wants a cozier home. With the winter months headed our way, we could all do with some warmth and coziness. From blankets and throws to a mongolian fur pillow and furry lumbar pillow, they make you want to sink into the couch, wrap yourself up and light a fire with a cup of tea or glass of wine. I feel like the bedrest pillow is old school but it’s in a fluffy material which makes it of the moment and the fur duvet cover is luxurious and comes with two pillow covers.
Faux Fur Backrest Pillow – $29.99
Luxurious Brown Faux Fur Blanket – $66.39
Memory Foam Full Body Pillow – $59.99
Gray Mongolian Lamb Fur Pillow – $60.80
Green Chunky Cozy Knit Blanket – $100.79
Full/Queen Faux Fur Comforter Set 3pcs – $69.99
Cozy Outfits
It seems like everything is fur-lined or comes in a fluffy material nowadays. Check out these sherpa-lined loafers. It will make you feel like you’re walking on pillows. I can’t tell you how many sweatshirts I have purchased since the pandemic, but it’s getting embarrassing. The fur lined hoodie and the oversized red one is in my cart right now as well as the fur lined leggings. But I’ve also been eyeing the green two piece sweat set and I’m addicted to cardigans. You might as well say that I want all of these.
Sherpa Lined Chunky Heel Loafers – $60.99
Thick Velvet Fleece Lined Leggings – $18.99
Oversized Cozy Crew Neck Sweatshirt – $29.99
Oversized Sweatsuit with Wide Leg Pants – $54.99
Sherpa Lined Pullover Hooded Sweatshirt – $28.79
Oversized Chunky Knit Cardigan – $38.99
Cozy Outerwear
Winter outerwear is usually by definition “cozy” but I found some items that would be great gifts for any woman. The sherpa-lined moto jacket comes in other colors, but I love this version in beige. It would go great with the beige pom pom knitted hat. The rust colored fur bucket hat is sharp and the fur lined leather gloves would make great as well as stylish gifts. I’ve always loved a good shawl or open front poncho and this blue one would definitely make a statement. The long fur lapel coat is definitely a “dupe” of the Max Mara teddy coat but without the high price tag.
Faux Shearling Moto Jacket – $69.99
Winter Ribbed Beanie with PomPom – $7.99
Fur Lined Leather Mittens – $59.99
Printed Tassel Open Front Poncho – $31.32
Orolay Faux Fur Lapel Coat – $79.99
I hope you love these gift ideas as much as I loved putting it together. This one is near and dear to my heart because, I’ll admit, I’m the one who curls up on the couch or bed under something cozy and sometimes fluffy. If I go outside in these cold months, I like to feel the same way too.
I love my home and feel the safest there so I encourage everyone to feel that way. We are spending more time in our homes and want to make it as comfortable as possible, so throw something cozy on the couch, the bed, your body and make it feel like a warm hug.
Let me know if you’re into this whole concept in the comments below.
See ya next time.
