We are well into Summer around here and the mosquitoes and humidity are taking it up a notch this year. I know you all have probably shopped for summer sandals already, but I thought I’d give you some ideas on sandals you could wear well into Fall.
I never thought sandals and socks would be in style again but I’ve been seeing this style come back and it’s actually pretty cute. It’s not your bad Dad fashion any more. The only thing you have to remember, of course, is nothing between your toes, like thong sandals, and you’re all set.
Birks are always a good choice and I picked these because they’re known for the sock and sandal combo but the yellow color will be unique going into Fall.
Jellies are back! Or at least that’s what we used to call these. They’re opaque and come in a variety of colors.
These look a lot like Tevas but they’re not. A little bit above the standard hiking sandals and in a wonderful emerald green.
This is another version of a Teva dupe, but the flatform style and the white color is very stylish.
These orange slides are a natural for the sandal and sock trend.
Crocs are enduring and I’m not ashamed to say so. These will also be stylish with socks and this dusty pink color is definitely trending.
These eggplant twisted quilt sandals are a perfect candidate to take into Fall.
I can’t lie. I love a good slide. So comfortable and the color is fabulous.
I also love a good camo print and it’s a slide too? Win-win.
I couldn’t leave these out. A Steve Madden Dior dupe. So good.
So sandals can be worn up until the holidays really, especially if you live in one of the warm weather states like I do. Try them out and I’ll circle back around in the Fall to introduce all the ways in which you can sock it up.
What say you? Do you approve of this trend or do you think it should have stayed a fashion faux pas?
